Gates of the Eifel and the Ardennen. That is how you could call the gently sloping hills. At one of those hills Motel de Heek is situated, offering a fantastic view in every direction. One of the most striking places of Valkenburg with its forests and meadows, with beautiful footpaths meandering through an untouched landscape alternating with hills and valleys.
A many-sided area
Situated at the edge of Valkenburg, at about 15 minutes walking distance from the city center. Motel de Heek is a perfect base for visits to the many attractions the little city of Geul has to offer, or for lovely cycle- and car tours in the beautiful surroundings.
Because of its many attractions, Valkenburg appeals to everyone: Spa/health resort Thermae 2000, Holland Casino, many caves, castle-ruins, a coal mine, fairy forest, open-air theater, amusement park de Valkenier, cable- and bobsleigh run and much much more.
